The President of the United Arab Emirates in Tirana: Further strengthening of

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared on social media moments from the arrival in Albania of President Al Nahyan, whom he described as "an old and dear friend of the Albanian people, here and there in the mountains."

Al Nahyan was welcomed at the "Mother Teresa" International Airport in Rinas by Rama and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.

Albania and the United Arab Emirates exchanged in February this year the agreements signed within the framework of cooperation between Masdar, TAQA, KESH and OST, as well as the signing of the letter of commitment for the Albanian Smart City Project with "Presight AI Ltd" in the presence of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who visited Tirana, and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The focus of this meeting was on further strengthening the partnership between the two countries. In a reaction on social media, President Al Nayan announced that the meeting exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.

President Al Nayan stated that the meeting reaffirmed the joint commitment to support efforts to advance peace and stability for the benefit of all.

"I had the pleasure of meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in Tirana, to discuss ways to further strengthen the expanding partnership between our countries. We also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to supporting efforts to advance peace and stability for the benefit of all," President Al Nayan wrote on social media.
