Global GAP product certification/AZHBR: 50% financing of costs for farmers!
The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development published the list of 25 beneficiaries for the National Agricultural Support Scheme 2025, for measure 7: Implementation and global GAP certification, which is a patent for safe and high-value exports.
According to AZHBR, the benefit amount for individual certification is 50% of the total value of the tax invoice, up to the amount of 175,000 lek, for an area of no less than 1 hectare. Meanwhile, the benefit amount for certification in a group of farmers will be up to 500,000 lek, for groups of farmers of 10 members with an area of no less than 3 ha in protected areas and no less than 10 ha in open fields.
On the other hand, the support measure will be up to 700,000 lek for farmer groups of 20 members, with an area of no less than 15 ha in protected areas and no less than 30 ha in open fields.
The government continues this year to support the certification of agricultural products with European standards, as an important factor in promoting safe "Made in Albania" exports to international markets.
