Employment of foreigners: Around 86 thousand applications to date in e-Albania!
A total of 85,980 applications for "unique permits" have been registered on the e-Albania government portal.
The electronic service "Application for a unique permit" enables foreign citizens who seek to reside and work in the territory of the Republic of Albania to make a request to be provided with a unique permit in the Republic of Albania.
According to data published by e-Albania, during 2022 alone, 36,700 applications were registered, while during 2023 there were 36,348 applications and in 2024 there were 12,932 applications.
In parallel with the demand from businesses to be able to hire foreigners in the face of a labor shortage in the country, the application process for unique permits by businesses in the online system has been continuously improved and facilitated.
