Kosovo pilots train at the Farka Air Base - Albania-Kosovo cooperation to increase security
The Ministry of Defense announces that it is focusing on cooperation for increasing the level of human capacities with Kosovo. Therefore, in addition to the College of Security and the Academy of the Armed Forces, the doors to the forces of the KSF have also been opened to other units of the FA, since in the field of security, Kosovo and Albania have many dimensions of cooperation.
Also, the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, announced that in the last few days, the FSK pilots started training flights at the Farka Air Base with "Cougar" helicopters, after the theoretical phase.
Albania has significantly increased investments in the defense sector, where for the first time this year funds have been allocated that reach the level of 2% of the Gross Domestic Product. The projections are for this increase to be annual, where within 10 years it is intended to reach the level of 2.8% of the Gross Domestic Product.
The plan is that within a few years Albania will have an army and defense system similar to that of NATO and that responds to any challenge that may arise for the national security of our country.
