Gonxha warns of sanctions: Safety at work is not an option - it is a legal obligation!
The Labor Inspectorate has suspended work at 23 construction sites. The reason is that inspectors have found serious violations of safety conditions at work. The news was announced in a post on social networks by the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja. Appealing to everyone to denounce cases of safety violations at work, the ministry wrote on social networks that "Any entity that does not respect the technical rules and does not implement the law on Safety and Health at Work will face immediate sanctions and any other legal measures, without any tolerance.
The State Labor Inspectorate has conducted intensive inspections in the construction sector over the past week. Serious violations of safety conditions were found in 23 entities, and as a result, the measure of immediate suspension of work was taken, until the mandatory legal conditions for the protection of the life and health of employees are fully met.
Disregarding safety is not a choice – it is a violation!
Let's build together a safe and healthy work culture, where every employee is protected as required by law!', appeals Gonxha.
