The new 20 kV network in Velipojë - Balluku is completed: It guarantees quality electricity supply

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku announced that the investment for the construction of the 20 kV network in the administrative unit of Velipojë, Shkodër municipality, has now been completed.
According to Balluku, this project included the commissioning of 21 new cabins and the construction of a new 10-kilometer electrical line, aiming to increase the security and quality of electricity supply.
In function of this strategic investment is also the new 110/20 kV substation, which guarantees a stable and quality energy supply for about 1,100 local subscribers, as well as for thousands of tourists who frequent this coastal area during the tourist season.
"Together with the new 110/20 kV substation, a quality supply of electricity is guaranteed for 1,100 subscribers as well as tourists who frequent the coast in this area," said Balluku.
This project constitutes an important step towards the modernization of energy infrastructure in tourist areas and directly contributes to the economic development of the region.
