DP-ASHM, meeting with Albanian emigrants in Thessaloniki - Berisha: 2025, the year of the Diaspora
The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha from Thessaloniki, where he held a meeting with Albanian citizens living and working in the Greek state, said that one of the most beautiful campaigns of the 32 years is taking place in Albania and will be highlighted as the year of the Albanian diaspora.
Berisha expressed gratitude for Greece and the relations between the two countries.
"In a country where half a million Albanians live, for such a country, gratitude is boundless. A friendly country, a country to which we owe a lot for the attitude it has maintained towards you. You came to build the dream in this country, and today you have become a powerful factor in the economic, social, artistic, cultural life of this country. You have a good name all over Greece. You shine in every field, and you will shine even more in the times to come, just like, the Arvanites today are at all levels of this country, they are the pride of Greece, yes they are the pride of Albania as well '' - said Berisha.
