Cash for oil in agriculture by crop - Applications, until May 30. Financing up to 186 euros/hectare
Farmers who work the land will have the opportunity to apply until May 30 to receive cash payments for the oil they use for mechanized agricultural work.
The criteria that farmers must meet to benefit from the oil scheme are to have an active Nipt; agricultural land in ownership and/or use, proven with the relevant documentation; The total area for which the application is made must be no less than 1 ha, while the size of the plots must be no less than 0.1 ha.
Lease/loan contracts/legal documents signed by the parties will also be considered valid. If the contract or document is not notarized, it must be confirmed by the administrative unit and include identification documents of the parties. They contain the total area and parcels of agricultural land subject to lease/loan, as well as the location of each parcel. The contract/document also includes the right to use the land for the year 2025.
The applicant self-declares the agricultural crops planted or planned to be planted, according to the definitions of the online application form. Each parcel, according to the documentation of ownership or use, is completed with the relevant crop(s) planted or planned to be planted.
The exact amount that winning applicants will receive is categorized by government decision according to the crop they plant.
Regarding the cultivation of field crops, 18,582 lek/ha will be provided for spring crops such as corn, beans, sunflowers, soybeans, sorghum. 12,714 lek/ha for ancient plants such as wheat, oats, rye, barley, annual and industrial forages (potatoes, tobacco, beets, cotton. And 8,802 lek/ha for perennial forages, aromatic and medicinal plants.
In the fruit and vegetable group, a payment for oil will be given for the cultivation of apples at 18,582/ha, 15,648 lek/ha for all types of fruits, olives, citrus fruits and vineyards, as well as 13,692 lek/ha for cultivated nuts, almonds, hazelnuts and chestnuts, as well as 16,626 lek/ha for all seedlings of seed, nuclear and nut plants.
As for the third group, vegetable cultivation, payments for oil vary from 14,670 lek/ha for all types of field vegetables in the first season, including watermelon, melon, strawberries, and 16,626 lek/ha for all greenhouse vegetables in the first season.
Farmers benefit up to 100% of the value, with an area of up to 10 ha, according to the calculations made. For areas over 10 ha, the benefit amount is reduced by 50%, excluding cases of applicants with "Group of farmers" or "SHBB" status.
All applications submitted through e-Albania are subject to an administrative control process, which examines the compliance of self-declarations, regarding parcels, areas, crops and the documentation supporting these declarations. After the administrative control, the applicant is notified of the result of the application (qualified/disqualified).
Last year, over 52,000 farmers across the country benefited from this scheme.
