The Transmission System Operator has opened the tender for the expansion of the communication system for the dedicated "Electronic Highway" network. The limit fund of this project is 14 million 366 thousand ALL.
In the document published in the Public Procurement Agency, it is stated that the main objective of the project is to improve the infrastructure and increase security in the "Electronic Highway" network.
Meanwhile, one of the main objectives is the conception and design of a modern infrastructure, but at the same time efficient and elastic in use, to increase the performance and security in the processing and transmission of critical information.
The purpose of this commitment is to react to malicious attacks, as well as to anticipate technological changes to transform TSO priorities and activities.
According to the tender document, the internal network of the 'Electronic Highway' domain will be redesigned and designed, replacing the existing equipment, which does not provide the necessary performance and security, according to the current requirements of the needs of the TSO and technological changes and cyber attacks with it. which we are facing recently.
Meanwhile, the new architecture will provide a structure capable of providing high-quality service in a reliable context, where the failure or absence of a single element will not cause any communication interruption.
