In 10 months, PIH inspected 88 subjects - What are the administrative measures and controls performed?
The Albanian government has taken initiatives against the informality of businesses, but what are the measures taken by the State Labor Inspectorate?
Based on the data of the Inspectorate, a total of 888 subjects were inspected in 10 months of this year. One of the measures that will be taken in the context of informality is the under-declaration of wages.
Meanwhile, the Labor Inspectorate has checked 16,132 jobs in total. But one of the main objectives of the action against informality is the counseling of businesses, while in 10 months the Labor Inspectorate has carried out 142 advisory inspections, but 309 administrative measures have been taken in total.
Meanwhile, to focus on the handled complaints, the Inspectorate has handled 68 complaints.
Since the third week of October, Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced the launch of a national action against informality to promote the real declaration of employees' salaries.
At the beginning of November, the tax administration itself announced that nine thousand businesses increased their payroll by 1.25 billion ALL, reacting positively to their payroll statements. According to official data at the start of the action
The Tax Administration identified about 37 thousand taxpayers at risk in the field of informality of wages. Already 7,000 of them will pass through the sieve of tax control.
