Prices change in the Energy Exchange - From membership to Technical Tariff, the decision for 2025 is approved
The Energy Regulatory Authority has approved the tariffs that the Albanian Electricity Exchange will apply for 2025 for the Day Forward Market and the Intraday Market.
In total, there are 19 types of fees for members of the stock exchange or members of the clearinghouse, as referring to the decision, the change of 5 existing fees and the addition of a new fee are included.
According to ERE, the company anticipates an increase in operating expenses, including costs for personnel, platform services and market integrations.
Meanwhile, the increase in tariffs and the addition of a new tariff are related to factors such as the increase in operating expenses, low volumes of traded energy and the constant decrease in the exchange rate.
The new fee, called the Technical Fee, will be applied annually to members of the exchange, covering the costs of the technical support provided by ALPEX, while its measure is 2,000 euros.
Meanwhile, according to the approved list, the membership fee will be 10,000 euros, while the annual fee for the member is divided according to the trading day.
Thus, the Annual Fee for the Exchange Member for the Forward Day Market is 14,000 euros, while for the Intraday Market, 8 thousand euros.
At the same time, it has been determined that for clearing members the membership fee will be 7,000 euros, while the annual fee will be 3,000 euros. These fees are exclusive of VAT.
Exchange operations started in April 2023, while for the Intraday Market, in December 2024.
