Changes in the State Police, new leaders appointed in three districts
Movement in Elbasan, Berat and Korça, some leaders transferred to the General Directorate
The State Police has made changes to the management structures in Elbasan, Berat and Korça, affecting the heads of several local directorates and Border and Migration structures.
According to reports, Kastriot Skënderaj has been appointed Director of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate. He replaces Fatmir Hoxha in this position, who has been transferred to the General Directorate of the State Police, where he has been appointed specialist in the Directorate for Integration.
Changes have also been made in Berat and Korça. Luigj Vathi, who held the position of Director of the Berat Local Police Directorate, has been appointed Director of the Korça Local Border and Migration Directorate.
In this position, he replaces Gëzim Zhupaj, who has been transferred to the General Directorate of the State Police, where he will exercise the duty of Head of Sector in the Department of Public Order and Security.
Meanwhile, Chief Commissioner Dashnor Muhaj has been transferred from the position of Deputy Director for Public Order and Security at the Tirana Local Police Directorate. He has been appointed as a specialist for Irregular Migration at the Border and Migration Department at the General Directorate of the State Police.
The moves are part of recent changes in the leadership structures of the State Police.
