The Arbër road and the Murrizi Tunnel are "illuminated" - OSSH opens the tender with a limited fund of 295 million ALL
The Regional Directorate of OSSH Tirana has announced the opening of the tender for the development of the 20kv network to improve the quality of the supply of areas along the Arbër road and the supply of the Murrizi Tunnel. The estimated limit fund of this project is 295 million and 357 thousand ALL.
According to the document, taking into account the frequent problems caused by strikes as a result of atmospheric conditions, as well as seeing the perspective of the development of these areas, where the Arbri road passes, a national road with a length of over 75 km, which is being built and part of it is the construction of the Murriz Tunnel, there is a need to intervene in the distribution network with an optimal solution for the development of the 20 kV electrical network, in order to improve the quality of supply to the areas along the road of Arbri and the supply of the Murrizi tunnel.
The area where the trail of the Arbri road passes is located in the East of the city of Tirana and includes the villages of Tujan, Zall Dajt, Besh, Kurte, Zallbastar, Hysaj and Maricej, villages which are currently supplied by a 10 kV medium voltage network, over depreciated and old, while the area of Murriz lies in the eastern part of Tirana and is its peripheral area which is characterized by a difficult terrain.
The construction of the Murriz Tunnel will bring a new boost to the development of the infrastructure of the Arbri road that creates access for the eastern areas of Albania. It is planned to develop an electrical infrastructure for the Murrizi Tunnel, to guarantee a quality service.
The urban and cultural development of this area has received special attention, leading to the construction of new, complex villas in this area. The existence of the business of restaurants with traditional dishes is another asset for economic development, as it guarantees a market that, although small, is safe for the sale of the products of the area.
