Minister Salla: Support for farmers through the National Scheme 2025 reaches 6.4 billion lek
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, announced in a post on social media that with the end-of-year normative act, support for farmers through the National Scheme 2025 reaches 6.4 billion lek, marking an increase of 20.8% compared to the previous year. With this normative act, an additional 2 billion lek have been allocated to the National Scheme, directly serving farmers.
According to Minister Salla, this increased support aims to reduce production costs and guarantee the continuity of Made in Albania agricultural and livestock products. He emphasized that the National Scheme remains one of the government's main instruments for strengthening domestic production and for concrete support of the rural economy.
Minister Salla informed that so far 65 thousand farmers have benefited from the National Scheme, while 49 800 of them have been supported with 100% diesel. According to him, the normative act guarantees full payment for every qualified farmer within the budget year, ensuring correctness and transparency in the implementation of the scheme.
