Minister Ervin Demo presents “Rilindja 2.0”/ “This program builds a new development model for Albanian municipalities”

The Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, after the meeting of the Council of Ministers, presented the new national program "Rilindja 2.0", an integrated program for territorial interventions and sustainable regional development, which aims to build a new development model for Albanian municipalities.
The program is based on 11 program pillars, which include strengthening local identity through museums, modern parking management, regeneration of former industrial spaces, improvement of public infrastructure architecture, promotion of startups and innovation in the territory, more complete coverage with environmental services, public transport with electric buses, sports and recreational spaces, improvement of water supply and sewage systems, strengthening the logistical capacities of municipalities and the development of smart cities.
Essentially, "Rilindja 2.0" aims to turn municipalities into more functional, more livable, cleaner, more accessible and more aligned with European standards, by linking public investments to local identity, the economy, tourism, services and the quality of life of citizens.
