Tourism Minister Gonxha: Dignified representation of Albania, a success story that deserves to be heard

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, participated in the Tourism Ministerial organized by UN Tourism in Berlin, as part of ITB Berlin, the world's largest tourism fair.
The ministerial took place one day before the fair opened to the public and brought together ministers and government representatives from around 40 countries, who discussed sustainable tourism development, increasing competitiveness and strengthening new destinations in the global market.
Gonxha said, "Albania is presented with a dignified pavilion and with a wide representation from tour operators, institutions, municipalities and various organizations of the tourism sector. Starting tomorrow, we will have intensive days of promoting our destinations in front of international media, industry professionals and partners from all over the world."
During the discussions, the importance of sustainable tourism development, increased investment, and the promotion of destinations that offer authenticity and unique experiences for visitors was emphasized.
The ministerial topic was dedicated to strengthening new destinations and their potential, a topic where Albania naturally stands out as an attractive destination in the region and beyond.
"With our extraordinary nature, tradition, culture, heritage, hospitality and blessed climate, we come to Berlin with an authentic offer and a success story that deserves to be heard," said Minister Gonxha.
Albania is presented at ITB Berlin with a dignified pavilion and a broad representation from tour operators, central and local institutions, municipalities and various organizations in the tourism sector. Participation in this fair aims to strengthen relations with international partners, expand cooperation and increase the number of tourists choosing Albania as a destination.
Starting tomorrow, Albanian representatives will develop an intensive agenda of meetings with industry professionals, international media, and strategic partners from around the world, to promote the country's tourist destinations.
With its extraordinary nature, cultural heritage, traditions, hospitality and favorable climate, Albania presents itself in Berlin with an authentic offer and a growing success story, consolidating its position as one of the most dynamic destinations in the region.
