The price for energy producers - The value is set for 2025, the government will buy it for 10 ALL/kWh
The energy of priority producers of electricity during 2025 will be purchased by the state at 10 ALL/kWh. The Energy Regulatory Body has approved the prices for the coming year, while the value has remained unchanged from what it was during 2024.
According to the approved formula and the legislation in force, this is the maximum price that can be applied to these energy producers, while according to the ERE board members, this price guarantees their sustainability.
The government's decision that determines the pricing methodology also sets the ceiling that can be applied in these cases. Until the middle of February last year, the ceiling price was 8.5 ALL/kWh, but it was changed through a decision of the Council of Ministers, increasing to 10 ALL/kWh. Power plants with an installed power of up to 15 MW are included in the priority electricity producers.
