Over 15 thousand workplaces checked in September - 704 businesses inspected and 543 measures for violations
State inspectorates continued on-site inspections during September, with the aim of guaranteeing safe and legal conditions in workplaces.
According to official data, 704 entities were inspected throughout the country in September, while a total of 15,552 workplaces were checked. The inspections were conducted in various sectors of the economy, from small businesses to larger companies, focusing on safety, hygiene and respect for employee rights.
These inspections found 543 violations, for which administrative measures were taken in accordance with legal provisions. The violations mainly relate to the lack of proper safety conditions at work, non-compliance with legal obligations by employers or irregularities in documentation.
In addition to on-site inspections, 99 complaints received from citizens and employees regarding various concerns, from working hours to payments and contractual obligations, were also handled.
The authorities indicate that the controls will continue in the coming months with the same intensity, while emphasizing that the objective is to prevent abuse in the workplace and increase sensitivity to standards that guarantee the well-being and safety of every employee.
