"New financial support for agritourism" - Rama: New program combined with soft loans and grants ready
Prime Minister Edi Rama has once again called on emigrants to live and invest in Albania. According to the Prime Minister, a new program will soon be announced that will continue to support agritourism through grants and soft loans.
"Agritourism has no taxes, we have made the VAT 6%. We have a new program that we will announce soon, which will provide financial support for these activities, you with what you have done will receive our financial support. It is a combined support of soft loans with grants."
Currently, the main problem of entrepreneurs is labor.
"I was with some entrepreneurs. The main problem was that they told me that we don't have a problem with how much we pay them, but we don't have anyone to hire. Because we managed to get the sanitation worker, the cleaner, to get 600 euros, pick them up and take them home."
On the other hand, the Prime Minister emphasized that compared to European countries, 94% of Albanians own homes.
"In terms of rents, we are the country in Europe with the highest home ownership rate, 94% of us own our homes and we have not yet experienced the great rental crisis that has now gripped all developed countries. That is no longer the case, Portugal, Spain, Italy in large parts, no longer have any opportunity to buy a home."
