World leaders congratulate Rama on his victory in the May 11 elections!

World leaders have congratulated the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, on the victory of the Socialist Party in the May 11 elections. The first to congratulate was the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, who congratulated Prime Minister Edi Rama on the victory of the Socialist Party in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Meloni expressed her commitment to continue cooperation to strengthen bilateral ties and support Albania's European integration process. She emphasized that the strategic cooperation between Italy and Albania has been further deepened through joint initiatives, which are the result of a constructive dialogue.

"I would like to express my sincere congratulations to Prime Minister Edi Rama on his reappointment as head of the Albanian government. The deep friendship and strategic cooperation that binds our two nations has been further strengthened thanks to joint initiatives, the result of constructive dialogue and a shared desire to respond to global challenges with innovative solutions. We will continue to work to further strengthen the bond between our two governments and to achieve common objectives, including strengthening stability in the Balkans and advancing Albania's European path," said Meloni.

Prime Minister Edi Rama also responded to this congratulation, saying that the best for both countries will come in the future.

"Thank you sister. It is an honor to serve an extraordinary relationship of closeness and friendship like that between Albania and Italy, and it is a privilege to collaborate with a leader like you, who says what he does and does what he says. I don't know if I spelled "a" leader correctly and not "a" leader, but I know for sure that the best for our two countries is yet to come," Rama writes.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, also joined the congratulations, where he also praised the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

"Congratulations to Edi Rama and the Socialist Party for the convincing victory in the elections. I wish you success in serving the Albanian people. We greatly appreciate your clear and unwavering stance on the need for lasting peace for Ukraine, which can only be achieved through a complete and unconditional ceasefire. I look forward to further strengthening the friendly relations between our countries, for the benefit of both our nations," Zelensky wrote.
