Procedures for employment programs are facilitated - New opportunities for training and integration of young people
The National Employment and Skills Agency calls on employers to contribute to the inclusion in the labor market of young people aged 15-29 by providing training and employment. According to AKPA, there are 5254 job offers.
Employers seeking to enroll in employment incentive programs can apply online to e-albania for the "workplace learning program". Of the 4 required documents, they only need to upload one and the response to the application arrives electronically within 7 working days.
But what are the criteria that employers must meet?
According to the National Employment and Skills Agency, only employers who have been registered for at least 6 months in the National Employment Agency as a business can apply; are not in the process of bankruptcy; are registered as employers with AKPA; have no violations or tax obligations and meet all the infrastructural and human resources conditions to be included in the program.
The program will initially be implemented only in Tirana, Shkodër and Vlora.
According to INSTAT data, in the fourth quarter of 2023, the employment rate for the population aged 15-64 is 66.7%, or 0.2 percentage points higher compared to the same quarter a year ago, and has decreased by 1 percentage point, compared to the previous quarter.
Meanwhile, according to the figures, the official unemployment rate for the 15-29 age group is 22%, marking an increase of 0.6 percentage points, compared to the same period a year ago.
