Intellectual and industrial property - Albanian Customs seizes over 40 thousand luxury goods!
Since the beginning of 2024, the Customs Administration, as a law-enforcement institution regarding the protection of intellectual property rights, has suspended the release into free circulation of 40,911 pieces of different clothing and accessories.
According to the announcement, the seized goods were suspected of infringing the intellectual property of trademarks of Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Channel, Adidas, Prada, Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Miu Miu, Nokia, etc., for which there is an application for action approved by the Customs Authority.
Also, the Albanian Customs announces that during the year 2024, ADSH suspended 10,650 kg of chewing gum imported from China, of the trade mark "Orbit", which were confirmed by the right holder, that they were counterfeit and could be very harmful for the health of the Albanian consumer.
