British Prime Minister in Tirana for the first time/ Rama: Strategic cooperation between the two countries
Prime Minister Edi Rama received today with an official ceremony the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.
"For the first time in Albania, British Prime Minister Starmer is conducting this official visit in the context of strengthening bilateral relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries ," said Rama.
At the ceremony organized in front of the Prime Minister's Office, after the performance of the United Kingdom anthem and the Albanian National Anthem, Rama and Starmer continued the meeting inside the Prime Minister's Office.
After the meeting, Rama and Starmer will hold a press conference at 12:40.
Keir Starmer's visit also precedes the European Political Community Summit, which will be held in Tirana tomorrow, May 16.
