0% interest home loan/ Ibrahimaj: Call for 300 administration employees opens
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation has opened the call for applications for 300 loans with 0% interest, intended for public administration employees who meet the criteria set for the social housing program.
Applications will be open from August 27 to September 25, 2026, through the e-Albania platform.
The loans will be used to purchase a home, while financing will be determined based on the reference price and surface area of the home, according to family composition and family certificate.
The quotas are divided into five structures. The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have 70 quotas each, while the Prison Police/Ministry of Justice has 20 quotas.
To benefit from the program, applicants must be employed in the public administration, according to the provisions of the law "On social housing".
Among the main criteria is that the applicant does not own a home or is in the process of legalizing it, or has a home that does not meet housing standards. Also, he/she must not own real estate or movable property worth more than half the value of the home he/she intends to purchase, and he/she must not be a beneficiary of another social housing program.
The Ministry calls on administrative employees who meet the conditions to apply within the deadline set in e-Albania.
