"Four staff officers will go to Gaza"/ Nufi: The Council of Ministers approved a reward for firefighters
At the end of the government meeting, Defense Minister Ermal Nufi stated that Albania will send 4 staff officers to the international mission in Gaza. According to the minister, the Council of Ministers has approved the official decision for Albania's participation in the international mission in Gaza, while stating that an assessment will also be made of the number of military personnel who can be further engaged in the mission.
" The act approving our mission in Gaza. Albania will have representation in Gaza. It will start with 3 staff officers, which will be the commitment of the Republic of Albania. With the arrival of these four officers, it will be assessed what the level of troops that will be sent to Gaza will be, " explained Nufi.
The Council of Ministers also approved the decision for additional compensation for firefighters who have been engaged in extinguishing fires so far.
" Today, the decision was approved on the rewards for firefighters who participated in the fires. The situation this year has been managed very well, we have managed and extinguished over 27 fires. Over 1,300 forces have been engaged to the maximum. 5 helicopters have been active, over 90 vehicles in total. We have a fire situation in Dajt, there are over 120 forces on the ground, also 2 helicopters are working from the air. This reward is more than deserved. The government gives it to all those who are on the front line with fires " - emphasized the minister.
