The Strategic Investment Committee approved four new statuses for projects affecting various sectors, including tourism, energy and industry. These projects will bring a total investment of around 196 million euros and 205 million dollars.

One of the approved projects is the construction of a hotel in Ksamil by "AICA Imobilare", which has received the status of "Strategic Investment/Investor Assisted Procedure". This investment will reach a value of 45 million euros and will create 180 jobs.

Another project that has received the status of "Investment/Strategic Investor Special Procedure" is the construction of a nickel refinery and brick factory in Përrenjas, by "CVMR Albania". This project, with an investment value of 205 million dollars, envisages the production of 10,000 tons of ferro-nickel per year and a capacity of 300 million bricks. The refinery and factory will use nickel processing waste as raw material. The project is planned in two phases: construction of the infrastructure and implementation of the modules.

Another approved investment is "Pashaliman Laguna Eko Resort", a tourist complex that will be built by "Meta Resorts Albania" with an investment of 21 million euros. The project will be developed on an area of ​​25 hectares in the Pashaliman and Orikum area and will create 78 jobs. It envisages the restoration of historical buildings and the development of floating structures, developing sustainable tourism in the area.

Another important strategic project is the "Kiraç Integrated Wind and Photovoltaic Park", developed by "Kiraç Green Energy", part of the Kirac Group from Turkey. This project, which has received the status of "Special Procedure Strategic Investment/Investor", has an investment value of around 130 million euros. It envisages the construction of a hybrid energy park, which will combine wind and photovoltaic energy with an installed capacity of 125 MW. The project is expected to contribute significantly to Albania's energy security and will extend to the municipalities of Lezhë and Vau i Dejës, employing 124 people.
