Investment in technology and innovation "TEDA Tirana", agreement with Israeli company for digital database
An agreement has been signed between "TEDA Tirana" and the Israeli company "HAPI Advanced Technologies LTD". This agreement marks a significant investment in technology and innovation.
"It is a strategic investment of very special importance. It is about tens and tens of millions of euros to create a database, a digital data bank which will be the largest digital database in our region within 18 months after receiving the development permit and will offer a very attractive platform for large companies in the field of digital technology and, respectively, in the development of Artificial Intelligence", said Prime Minister Rama.
According to the CEO of the Israeli company, this center will become an engine of economic development.
"This Albanian data center is not just a construction project. It will make Albania a regional technology center by attracting foreign investments worth millions of euros, creating hundreds of quality jobs. This center will become an engine for economic development."
But what will be the economic benefits of TEDA Tirana?
"Today we have acquired an area of 35 hectares, which we are developing and equipping with every facility to create an extraordinary development pole. Thanks to this investment, which is expected to reach a value of around 100 million euros, we will create the conditions to create industries such as automation, robotics, various technological products, etc. It is expected to generate around 7,000 jobs ," said Blendi Gonxhja, Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation.
TEDA Tirana is a strategic project to promote investments in technology and industry, by providing facilities for foreign investments in sectors such as technology, automotive, innovation and manufacturing. The aim is to create a favorable environment for businesses and increase the economic development of Albania.
