Financial intelligence and cyber security - Construction of government buildings begins, Rama: High security is needed
Work has begun on the construction of the complex of government buildings, where several agencies that operate in the field of information and cyber security, such as the Cyber Security Agency, the State Authority for Geospatial Information and the Financial Intelligence Agency, will be accommodated with offices.
Present at the start of the works, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the construction of this complex is very important in terms of the fight to prevent money laundering, adding that high security is needed.
Meanwhile, deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku announced the details of the project, focusing especially on the ranking of our country in terms of cyber security.
The deadline for the completion of the construction of this complex is 18 months, being ready in May 2026.
