Registrations for first and tenth grades open in e-albania - The procedure is carried out online, the registration deadline will last until August 31
Online registrations for first and tenth grades are open today at e-Albania for student registration for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the announcement of the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu on social networks, the system will be open until August 31, to give all parents the opportunity to register their children at any time convenient for them.
First grade students are allowed to enroll in the public educational institution that covers the place of residence of the person exercising parental responsibility for the student. The territorial coverage map, approved by the local unit, is respected during the enrollment of students in first grade.
But, what are the steps of the registration procedure?
Log in as a citizen on the e-Albania portal; Select the "First Class Registration" service; Click the "Use" button; Fill out the application form and click "Send".
The application arrives at the relevant school where the student wishes to enroll and the school begins the procedure for handling the request. The school enrolls the student when the procedure is completed and the necessary documentation is uploaded, according to the established criteria.
The school notifies the applicant electronically of the acceptance or rejection of the registration within 10 days from the moment of submitting the application. In case of rejection, the person exercising parental responsibility continues the application within the deadline at the educational institution where the child's registration is due.
Likewise, students are enrolled in public high schools according to the high school zone, that is, according to the preliminary planning of the Local Offices of Pre-University Education. The high school zone and the preliminary planning are strictly respected by the director of the IA.
Admissions to secondary education-oriented schools (artistic, sports, foreign language and other field schools) are made according to the provisions of the relevant ministerial directive.
The application for registration is made through the e-Albania portal. The time required to receive the service for both cases is 10 days and the costs are free of charge.
