Competition ready for the Milot-Balldren - Balluku highway: Investments in 2025, priority 2 road corridors connecting the country with the region
The international competition for the construction of the road segment Milot - Balldren, part of the Blue Corridor will be opened soon.
While presenting the budget for 2025, the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, announced the progress of this project, after the opening of one of its axes, which is the Thumane - Kashar highway.
The blue corridor and corridor 8 are the 2 main road projects, according to Balluk, emphasizing that the 2025 budget also plans funds for the bypass of Elbasan and Tirana.
The minister also spoke about railways, giving details on the railway connection of the new port of Durrës.
As for water supply and sewerage, the minister said that the reform undertaken in the sector is reflected in the financial soundness of regional societies.
