In a special session, Prime Minister Rama addressed the Israeli parliament with a speech, after being received with a state ceremony by Prime Minister Netanyahu and Parliament Speaker Ohana. While expressing Albania's support for Israel's fight against Hamas terrorism, Rama highlighted the relationship between the two countries, including the rescue of Jews in World War II.

In his speech, Prime Minister Rama also touched on the rescue of Jews by Albanians. "You can take the gold, but not the Jews," Rama said, emphasizing that Albania is the only country that emerged from World War II with the largest number of sheltered Jews.

"Albania is the only country that emerged from the Second World War with many Jews sheltered within its territory. I came here after the Parliament approved the decision to become part of the peace board and to make Albania a founding country of the peace board that will contribute to this new window of opportunity for peace for the people of Gaza and the region," said Rama.

The Prime Minister said that there can be no peace in the Gaza Strip without the disarmament of the executioner Hamas, expressing our country's support for Israel.

"I regret that many media outlets have described Gaza as an open-air prison, but have failed to bring to attention who the executioner is there, the culprit is Hamas and no one else. Therefore, until Hamas is disarmed and dismantled, no peace can last and cannot be achieved," Rama said.

The head of government also stopped at the Peace Board, where Albania will sit at the table at Trump's invitation, saying that our country will make its contribution to peace in Gaza.

"I came here after the Parliament approved the decision to become part of the peace board and make Albania a founding member of the peace board that will contribute to this new window of opportunity for peace for the people of Gaza and the region," Rama said.

Before Rama, speeches were given by Parliament Speaker Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Yair Lapid, who said "thank you to the Albanians' Besa".
