Joint Declaration with Israel Signed/ Koçiu: Strong Partnership in Healthcare!
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, announced that the Joint Declaration between the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Albania was signed today, paving the way for a stronger partnership in healthcare and the exchange of experiences in medicine.
During the meeting, the challenges of the healthcare system and the opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries were discussed, but according to the minister, there was also a special focus on specialization for Albanian doctors at Israeli hospital centers, as well as the partnership with Sheba Medical Center.
Previously, as part of the cooperation with Israel, the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center was twinned with the largest Israeli hospital center, "Sheba Medical Center", a strategic partnership that will contribute to increasing the standards of health services for Albanian citizens.
According to the announcement, this cooperation aims to strengthen the capacities of the oncology service, increase standards and provide modern solutions for the health of citizens. This cooperation of QSUNT with "Sheba Medical Center", starts from management, to technology, training and medicines.
