End-of-year holidays with savings - Citizens: We will spend less than in previous years

As the new year approaches, citizens are faced with prices that do not know any reduction. Fruits and vegetables, essential for the New Year's table, are being purchased less and less. The citizens we asked say that this year-end they have been forced to limit the quantity, choosing only basic products. Although expectations were for seasonal reductions, prices have remained high, burdening the family budget.
"What more can we buy, we are pensioners. How much do we get? 150 lek per kilo of tomatoes, is that enough?"
As they were, they didn't lower them at all.
Relatively in relation to the world, it's not that different, but again with the incomes, with the pensions, with the salaries we receive, they are a bit high, as we say they are a bit salty. Pineapple, in Brussels is 1.6-1.7 euros, kg, 3500 here ", express the citizens.
Due to prices, citizens have decided to buy in small quantities, unlike the tradition of New Year's spending, where everything was purchased in daily quantities.
"Not in large quantities. When a rooster costs 100 thousand lek, or 80-70 thousand lek, we can't buy it, but we buy a kg of lamb, which is cheaper and we're celebrating with that and we buy a chicken from the bags, as a sign, to make up for that a little. And some fruit, some tomatoes, oranges, tangerines, because these are a little cheaper.
My good friend, you talk like that, but you are in Brussels, we who are here get even worse. I am a pensioner, the supplement is 100 thousand lek, and the bad thing is that this supplement was given at the beginning, we ruined it. We ruined it, we don't have it anymore", the citizens add.
