“EUth Balkans” unites MPs from Albania and Kosovo for the inclusion of young people in European integration

Socialist Party MP Sara Mila has paid a working visit to Pristina, where she was received by opposition MP Besnik Tahiri, representative of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. The meeting focused not only on getting to know the institutional functioning of the Assembly, but also on an exchange of ideas on the role that the parliaments of Albania and Kosovo should play in empowering young people and deepening regional cooperation.
The two MPs also discussed the "EUth Balkans" initiative, where MP Tahiri expressed his willingness for further cooperation, with the aim of turning the energy and potential of young people into concrete policies, joint projects and real decision-making platforms.
"This meeting was an important step towards strengthening inter-parliamentary ties and a clear signal that, especially when it comes to young people and the European future of our region, we must always be together. Albanian youth in Tirana, Pristina or anywhere in the region, do not only need motivating words, but also concrete bridges of cooperation and institutional support," declared MP Mila.
Meanwhile, within the framework of this initiative, MP Mila, together with Gjergji Ogren, Foreign Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs, and Ernest Thanasi, an expert on political and EU issues, held a meeting with the young people of the "European School of Kosovo", where the focus was precisely on the role and cooperation of youth structures in building regional political platforms.
The stop with the youth of Pristina as part of the EUth Balkans regional tour comes after the meeting in Presheva, where the main goal remains to strengthen political dialogue with the youth of the Western Balkans and their active involvement in decision-making processes and European integration.
