Effects of Trump tariffs on Albanian businesses - Preçi: Minimal impact, there will be reorientation in the market
The United States has imposed a 10 percent tariff on Albanian goods being exported. But how will these tariffs affect Albanian businesses and the domestic economy as a whole?
In an interview with SCAN TV, economic expert and executive director of the Albanian Center for Economic Research, Zef Preçi, explains that given the total volume of exports, the effect will be minimal.
But, on the other hand, will Albania have an advantage compared to the countries in the region, given that the tariffs imposed are lower?
Albania exports various goods to the United States of America, where the most important weight in value is cast iron and steel, as well as medicinal and industrial plants.
