DPD: 3-day blockade for heavy tonnage vehicles towards Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

The General Directorate of Customs informed today that in the next three days there will be a temporary blockage of the movement of heavy tonnage vehicles at customs crossings towards Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to DPD, the measure comes as a result of a announced strike by transporters in these countries, which is expected to take place on April 14-16.
Exceptions to the restrictions will only be made for vehicles transporting live animals, for emergency cases, and for the movement of cars.
The Customs Administration announces that the situation will be monitored in real time and further announcements will be made depending on developments.
