Summer Day fills the streets of Albania with joy, celebrations, and the scent of ballroom dancing.
This traditional celebration marks the arrival of spring, enlivening the country with activities and fairs.
But beyond symbolism, it also has an economic impact, boosting domestic trade.
On the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, where the celebrations in the capital were mainly concentrated, various craftsmen took advantage of this day to advertise their products, including those of agrotourism.
"The main goal is to advertise products, such as nut candy, corn or anything else that we have in agrotourism to show it more closely to citizens." "Last year there was a lot of work, today the weather affected it a little, but still, today there were some citizens interested in different products." Said some of the craftsmen who had set up stands on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard.
Ballokumet, as the main dessert of this celebration, accompanied the citizens on the streets.
But there was also no shortage of summer vegetables, decorative flowers, books, various agrotourism products, and even small livestock.
