Digitalization of intercity transport - eTransport, 52,000 active users in one year
The official digital platform for intercity transport services in Albania, eTransport, is experiencing a continuous increase in use by citizens.
According to official data, for the period January-August 2025, over 41 thousand active users were registered, while a full 286 thousand pages were browsed, a clear indicator of the growing interest of citizens in this service.
At a time when the digitalization of public services is becoming increasingly important, during the month of August alone, 11,219 users were active on this platform, generating over 75 thousand page views.
Meanwhile, in the last 12 months the total number of active users has reached 52 thousand and 29 thousand of them have registered in the last 90 days alone.
The growth is also significant from month to month. In June, there was an increase of 86.2% compared to May; in July there was another increase of 34.8%; and in August +11.8% compared to the previous month.
The official digital platform eTransport is an interaction platform between travelers, transport companies, transport agencies and Albanian national terminals and stations, for intercity transport services in Albania.
eTransport offers updated information on lines, schedules, stations and electronic reservations, in Albanian and English through just one search on a mobile phone, enabling safer, more transparent and comfortable travel for citizens.
