Digitalization of customs services, main indicators January–December 2025

During the period January-December 2025, customs services provided through the e-Albania platform have marked a steady increase, reflecting the progress of the digitalization process and the increased use of online services by businesses and citizens.
During this period, 2,355 online applications were registered, representing a 12% increase compared to 2024, when 2,100 applications were registered. This indicator demonstrates the growing trust in electronic services and their efficiency in facilitating customs procedures.
In parallel, during 2025, 13,014 authorizations for special regimes were updated in the system, marking an increase of 1.16% compared to 2024, when the number of authorizations was 12,864. This process has contributed to improving the administration and monitoring of customs regimes, as well as increasing procedural transparency.
The General Directorate of Customs continues its commitment to providing faster, more transparent and more efficient services, through the expansion and improvement of digital services, in order to facilitate interaction with business and citizens.
