The Chamber of Commerce and Industry signs a cooperation agreement with the Kosovo Business League

Today, on February 26, at the premises of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DHTI-Tirana), a cooperation agreement was signed with the Kosovo Business League (KBL), with the aim of strengthening economic and trade relations between Albania and Kosovo.
The agreement was signed by the President of DHTI-Tirana, Nikolin Jaka, and the President of LBK, Besart Dreshaj, who emphasized that this memorandum constitutes an important step towards concrete and sustainable cooperation between the business communities in both countries.
In his speech before the delegation of businesses from Kosovo, President Jaka praised the progress achieved so far in bilateral economic relations, emphasizing that there is still room to reduce bureaucracy and further facilitate the movement of goods and services. He underlined the importance of removing physical and administrative barriers between the two countries, as a necessity for deepening economic integration.
For his part, the Chairman of the LBK, Dreshaj, stressed that it is essential that the agreements reached at the political level find concrete implementation in practice, in order to increase economic cooperation. He praised the positive trend of trade exchanges, adding that the potential for growth is even greater. He also emphasized the need to support and promote domestic products, as a concrete expression of the partnership between the two countries.
In the framework of the implementation of this agreement, President Jaka proposed the organization of joint economic forums in Albania and Kosovo, and invited Kosovar businesses to participate in the fairs and activities organized by DHTI-Tirana. The invitation was welcomed by the LBK delegation, expressing its readiness to intensify institutional and business cooperation.
The Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry remains committed to building strong bridges of economic cooperation, in service of sustainable development and increasing the competitiveness of Albanian and Kosovar businesses.
