Albanian products have a wide map of world markets where they can be found, but this depends on the specific demand of each country, but also on the standards set and that must be met.

The most exported agricultural products for 2025 are melons, tomatoes, cucumbers, greens and mushrooms.

But which are the main countries that have high demand for these products?

Official data for the period January-August 2025 show that melons, as the most sought-after "Made in Albania" products, were exported mostly to Kosovo, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria. The highest quantity of melons was exported to Kosovo, approximately 21.4 thousand tons, followed by Serbia with approximately 11.3 thousand tons.

While Albanian tomatoes, as the second most exported product, go to Serbia and Kosovo, where even in this case, the highest quantity goes to Serbia, with approximately 11.7 thousand tons and around 10 million euros.

Cucumbers also go mostly to the Serbian market, where in 8 months, there are about 5.6 thousand tons, and other vegetables to the Kosovo market, with approximately 6.2 thousand tons exported until August.

According to the data, 54.6 thousand tons of melons and watermelons were exported in just 8 months, registering an increase of 12.4 thousand tons. The value of exported melons reached 12.9 million euros from 10 million euros in 2024. Meanwhile, 18 thousand tons of tomatoes were exported, worth 11.3 million euros.

The amount of products produced on Albanian soil that have gone to world markets has reached 361,994 tons by August 2025.

Compared to the January-August period last year, the volume of exports increased by 9.1%.

The government's ambitious objective is that through support instruments, such as the National Scheme, the Investment Scheme, the Sovereign Guarantee or the soft credit line, the value of agricultural product exports will reach 1 billion euros by 2030.
