1.1 billion lek compensation to owners affected by legalized constructions

At its last meeting, the Council of Ministers approved a fund of 1.122 billion lek in the form of financial compensation for owners of real estate affected by legalized construction.
Referring to the decision, the compensations include owners in the areas covered by the local directorates of the Albanian Agricultural Agency: Tirana North, Tirana South, Durrës-Kavajë-Krujë, Tirana Rural 1 and 2, Elbasan, Stimulated Areas, Shkodër, Korçë, Lezhë, Saranda, Kamëz-Vorë, Pogradec, Lushnje, Fier and Vlorë.
The government also approved a draft law ratifying the loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The agreement provides for the financing of the project "Railway Corridor VIII, phase I - Durrës - Rrogozhina section".
