Budget 2025, 4.6 billion ALL for the elderly - How will the division be made and which category benefits the most?
An important item in the 2025 Budget is the support of the elderly. These funds are aimed at mitigating the economic and social effects of increased inflation as well as changes in the goods market. Thus, in this budget, the government's attention to groups in need has increased.
Starting with the elderly, more specifically for those who are alone and those from groups in need. And in the Budget, a fund of 4.6 billion lek has been allocated, where the goal is to mitigate the effect of price increases.
But who will benefit from which fund?
According to the Budget, the beneficiaries of this fund will be 423,570 pensioners, of which 47,400 are single women. Meanwhile, this measure aims to somehow mitigate the financial effects that come from the loss of husbands for these women and families in general.
Benefits in the amount of 1.246 billion alleks also come from the indexation of pensions for retired women. Also higher sensitivity and special protection from the state for unemployed women with three or more children aged up to 18 years, where one of the children is under the age of 5 and the family has an income of less than 100,000 (one hundred thousand) ALL per month.
