AKEP, with a new Chairman of the Governing Council - The Council of Ministers opens applications. What are the criteria that must be met?
At the end of the mandate of the head of the Governing Council of the Electronic Communications Authority (AKEP), Tomi Frashëri, the Council of Ministers has announced a call for applications from candidates who meet the criteria for this vacancy.
The candidate must be a specialist with higher education and have at least 10 years of work experience in the electronic communications sector.
Not to be the spouse or relative, up to the second degree, of the members of the Council of Ministers; not be convicted by the court for committing a criminal offense, with a final decision; not be a debtor, creditor or shareholder in a company subject to the regulatory framework of the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority.
Also, the applicant who will be appointed to the position of member of the AKEP Governing Council must resign from any official and party position or function, withdraw from any private profitable activity, as well as sell and repay any financial interest, which there may be companies that carry out commercial activities under the jurisdiction of AKEP.
The documents that must be submitted are, application request; copy of the identity card; CV; graduation documents (notarized) as well as documents of experience in the required fields.
The deadline for submitting the application, until November 22, 2024, is stated in the decision of the Council of Ministers.
