Pensioner bonus, Ibrahimaj: In 2 days, 42 thousand pensioners withdrew the benefit
The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, announced through a post on social networks that in the first 2 days of the distribution of the pensioner bonus across the country, 42,631 were withdrawn.
"Pensioners across the country continue to withdraw year-end bonuses of 10,000 - 15,000 lek. In the first 2 days alone, 42,631 bonuses have been withdrawn by pensioners. The year-end bonus is a support from the Government for over 762 thousand beneficiaries across the country," writes Ibrahimaj.
According to Ibrahimaj, the anticipated reward will benefit 762,740 pensioners and other beneficiaries, of whom 640,325 are old-age pensioners and 2,322 are social pensioners, 65,232 people are disability pensioners, 48,087 people are family pensioners, 6,774 people with special financial treatment such as underground miners, employees of former military enterprises and military personnel in early retirement.
The reward will be paid throughout the month of December 2025 and when not withdrawn within this month, it can be withdrawn until June 30, 2026.
