FSHU balance sheet, 306 million lek profit - Positive result for the 8-month period, impact of increased energy consumption and operational efficiency

The Universal Service Provider, part of OSHEE Group, has closed the period January-August 2025 with positive financial performance, exceeding the annual plan. According to official data, revenues generated during the 8-month period reached around 43.1 billion lek or 7% more than the plan, while profit resulted in 306 million lek or four times higher than the initial forecast of 70 million lek.
Revenues from energy sales for the period increased to 42.2 billion lek, or 108% more than planned, an increase mainly related to higher consumption by consumers. Meanwhile, revenues from late payment interest have decreased compared to the plan, which suggests an increase in bill payments within the specified deadline.
Meanwhile, total expenditures for the eight-month period reached 42.8 billion lek, or 107% of the plan, with limited growth in relation to revenues. Of these, expenditures for energy purchase were 11.2 billion lek, while distribution and transmission tariffs recorded 24 billion lek and 4.2 billion lek, respectively.
FSHU explains that the costs of energy purchase, transmission and distribution remain unchanged, as prices and tariffs are contracted and constant. Consequently, any change in financial results is directly related to the increase in the amount of consumption and the improvement of operational efficiency.
