Berisha: Oil price, not higher than in Kosovo and Macedonia! - "We have an economic plan for the development of the northeastern areas"
In a conversation with citizens on social networks, the Chairman of the Democratic Party once again presented the Democratic Party's offer for the May 11 elections. Asked about the price of oil, he emphasized that oil in Albania will not be more expensive than in Kosovo and North Macedonia.
"Oil in Albania will not be sold above the price it will be sold at in Kosovo and Macedonia. Kosovo receives its oil from Durrës, so we cannot, without a doubt, tax oil at 1.1 euros, which is a punishment for citizens here."
On the other hand, Berisha stated that he is not using the living minimum for electoral purposes, but is a guaranteed promise that stems from the needs of the citizens themselves. According to him, the living minimum will be established so that no Albanian receives less than 200 euros per month, and this is just the beginning.
Also, the Chairman of the Democratic Party spoke about the economic plan for the development of the northeastern areas of the country.
"First, for the northeastern areas there will be an economic plan for the rational use of all their potential and resources, which should benefit the residents of these areas. Second, we will do everything to create free border zones with the government of Kosovo. Third, we will do everything to subsidize, to support investments with tax breaks."
Regarding young people, the DP leader underlined that a series of policies will be undertaken to curb the brain drain phenomenon and to offer more employment opportunities to young people.
"Brain drain, youth hemorrhage, are the most serious phenomena, the most serious wounds of this country. We will do everything through 'brain gain' and special programs for young people so that Albania becomes the country of their dreams. For young people, first, we remove the average and create opportunities for everyone to prove their strengths and abilities in universities. Secondly, we will do everything for the employment of young people, using incentives and incentives for all those who employ young people, paying social security for a period of 1 to 5 years according to the sector. By financing their start-ups with grants, by providing soft housing loans and to every young couple."
Berisha also stated that for the Democratic Party, the greatest national interest is Albania's integration into the European Union.
