Balluku: I believe in justice for my case - "I have not hindered it and I will not hinder it. Let it be resolved as provided for by the Constitution"

During the transfer of duties to the new Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku also spoke about the investigative process initiated against her. She denied the accusations of accumulating a large amount of real estate assets in her name, while stating that she believes in justice and will not obstruct it.
"I urge that the investigation that has been going on for months against me and that I have never hindered, neither in my position as minister or deputy prime minister nor in my position as a free citizen of the Republic of Albania, continue, continue to bring the truth to the surface. I do not have 300, nor 30, nor 3 apartments, I do not have 1 or 2 yachts, I do not have limousines, nor helicopters, nor planes, but all of these are part of a public trial which, unfortunately, is done with the greatest ease in this country, but to be honest, I grew up with public trials. I tried to do my best, maybe I could have done better and I do not question this at all, but I have not hindered justice and I will never hinder the justice in which I believe ," said Balluku.
According to Balluku, this legal issue raised against her must follow the rules and procedures provided for by the Constitution.
"I have made a personal decision, of my own free will, to remain silent on a legal issue, as I believe that every legal issue is not resolved on social media or in the media outlets, but must have its course as provided for by the Constitution," Balluku said.
