Balluku: I do not comment on cases under investigation - Deputy Prime Minister reacts to SPAK's accusations: I will never insult the new justice system

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has reacted for the first time after SPAK's accusation regarding the Llogara tunnel issue was communicated. During the plenary session, where the 2026 draft budget was discussed, Balluku said that she has no comment on the matter under investigation and that she will not attack the justice institutions.
"I must say a few words, not to compensate for the mud, allusions and half-truths and lies that have been spoken in abundance in these times, but for the obligation to everyone. You will never hear from me accusations, insults or threats about the new justice system even when I am personally affected. Nor praise or hymns because I deeply believe that this new justice system, which emerged from the reform, a product of the will of the Socialist Party and Rama, is carrying out the mission for which it was reformed, certainly with its weak and strong points, but like everything new, it is consolidated day by day. You will never hear me deal with prosecutors and judges, since each of them performs their duty as they see fit. I will never pronounce myself on matters under investigation because they have their own path, which I will follow with complete discretion, until the truth takes a definitive form, whatever it may be ," said Balluku.
She also added that she supports the justice reform and its products, although she is personally affected by it, emphasizing that that reform has received the support of every socialist and in full respect of the mission of the Socialist Party, she has no comment.
