AMF: Warning about fraudulent platforms TXEX, XUEXA, GROKREXDUU and similar platforms
The Financial Supervisory Authority (AMF), in exercising its legal powers to protect the interests of investors and maintain the integrity of the markets under its supervision, informs the public about the illegal activity of the TXEX platform, as well as the similar platforms XUEXA and GROKREXDUU. These entities are not licensed or authorized by the AMF to provide investment services in the Republic of Albania.
According to the AFSA, from the information provided, it results that these platforms appear as investment applications that offer users so-called “buy signals” for crypto-assets, creating the impression among investors that they can influence prices and realize profits. This mechanism in its entirety is fictitious and does not reflect real actions taken. This activity contradicts the legislation in force and constitutes a fraudulent act that directly affects the interests of Albanian investors.
AFSA, to date, informs that it has not licensed or authorized any entity to operate in these markets in accordance with Law No. 66/2020 “On financial markets based on distributed ledger technology”.
The list of entities licensed by the Authority is located in the "Register of Licensees" section on the official website of the Financial Supervisory Authority.
